Best Resources And Tools For Business

Best Resources and Tools for Business

I have spent countless hours researching and testing different programs, apps, landing pages, website builders, money making programs- you name it…call me a little geeky, but I love researching and figuring out all of the techie stuff!   “My Best business resources” is a list that I complied (and adding to daily) from many hours of trial and error.

Sometimes I’m super frustrated because of the vast amount of choices out there.

Like everything else, it takes up A LOT of precious time using programs and tools that don’t provide results.

Here is a list of my current favorite websites, business tools and other great resources you can use in your business today! (Read disclaimer below about my affiliate links)

WEBSITES, LANDING PAGES AND WEB HOSTING;

Builderall This is what I’m currently using to build landing pages for my businesses.  I also use their email auto responder to send out automated emails to my followers.  There are dozens of other cool features which makes this platform “all in one” to run your business. I am a Builderall Business partner as well where I earn recurring monthly income as well. Click here for a 7 day trial of Builderall.

I am no longer suggesting Builderall as my choice for landing pages and email auto-responder.  I feel that the platform is a bit too advanced for the average user.  I highly recommend Convert Kit as the Email Auto-responder and Leadpages as the landing page builder.  Both of these are very user friendly even for a beginner.

Wix I have one of my E-commerce websites on Wix.  There are many features and I love the versatility of it.  You can build landing pages, websites and I use this platform to run my E Commerce store. Click here to try Wix.

Leadpages-I have used Lead pages in the past to build super easy landing pages.  What I love about Leadpages is that this platform is great for beginners.  Even if you are not technically skilled, you can have landing pages up and running in no time. Click here to try leadpages.

WordPress.org.  I must admit that I was TERRIFIED of wordpress and avoided it like the plague!  But when I started to get serious about starting a blog, I knew that I had to overcome my fears and dive in.  Boy am I glad I did.  Once you understand the platform, you will see why it is the prime choice for bloggers.  Make sure you don’t make the same mistake as I did and sign up for WordPress.com.  You want to choose a self-hosted website which is WordPress.org.  Take a week to play around and learn about all of the functions tools and “plug-ins”.  There are many free and paid courses as well as hundreds of You Tube videos on how to learn this platform.

Shopify.  This is another platform that I use to host one of my E-commerce stores.  Moderately easy to use, and one of the top platforms for this space.

GoDaddy. I purchase my domains here as well as host my WordPress blog here.

Bluehost.  Many bloggers are using this platform to host their WordPress site here.

EMAIL AUTORESPONDERS;

Mail Chimp- This is the world’s largest marketing automation platform and super easy to use. Mail Chimp is where many bloggers and business owners start out to get their feet wet when it comes to building an email list.  There is a free and paid version.  I love the ease of Mail Chimp, but the free version is limited to 2000 subscribers and 12,000 emails per month.  However, it’s a great place if you are just starting out.

Convert Kit I use Convert Kit and I LOVE this email autoresponder.  The platform is very user friendly especially for beginners.  This is the premium choice for bloggers.  If you have a blog, you need to have an email list- I highly recommend Convert Kit for many reasons.  There is a reason why most bloggers use this platform- it completely rocks!!  Click here for a 14 day trial.

OUTSOURCING/FREELANCING

The following is my favorite place to find anything that you that you want to source out for your business.  An amazing “sea” of talent for almost any and everything you need done for your business.

FIVERR-  I LOOOOOVE Fiverr, in fact I use it several times a month for many different projects.  If you are not familiar with Fiver, it’s an online marketplace of freelancers that will help you in all aspects of your business.  Think of it as having a team behind you, but without the hefty price tags of keeping a staff.  Fiverr by far is ONE of the best business resources around.

Here are some of the gigs I personally have purchased on Fiverr.

  • Logo design
  • Fixing bugs on my website
  • Website design
  • Affiliate marketing website design
  • Backlinks
  • Instagram Management
  • Photo retouching

The plus side about FIVERR is that it is so darn cheap!  You can have a logo designed for $5.00!  You can have a blog built for $25.00.  There is some amazing talent on Fiverr.  My advice is to purchase only from sellers that have high reviews.  This way you can have a baseline of what to expect. Click Here to try Fiverr for all of your outsourcing business projects.

Affiliate Marketing/Advertising;

Google AdSense is by far one of the most popular ways to monetize your account, but you will need to be approved before you can just start putting up ads all over your blog.  Please read their policies BEFORE you decide to apply and make sure you are not violating any of their requirements.

 If you are new to blogging and are having a hard time getting accepted into Google AdSense, (which by the way don’t feel bad if you were rejected for one of the many policy violations), you may start with an affiliate program called ShareASale. It’s like finding a sponsor for your web site and Getting paid for your great content even as a newbie.  You can visit them here at www.shareasale.com It’s free to join and you will find hundreds of products to promote while you are growing your blog.I

LEAD GENERATION;

MiloTree.  I am sooooo excited about this EASY PEASY  lead generation tool.  I first saw this beautiful Popup on one bloggers website and thought to myself, wow I love this pop up, what plug in or app did this come from?   I didn’t sign up until the 3rd time I saw it on 3 other  bloggers websites.

MiloTree is the first “smart” popup lead generation tool that will link all of your social media accounts at the click of button to “Popup” on your blog or website.  We all know that traffic is king and this tool in my opinion is a must have.  Be sure to also sign up for their affiliate program where you earn referral commissions even up to 30 days after someone clicks on your affiliate link.  Click here to try MiloTree.

INSTAGRAM;

LinkTree.  This is a game changer.  Instagram only allows one link in your profile and LinkTree solves that problem by allowing you to have multiple links under their platform.  You can link up all of your accounts to have your followers choose where they want to click on according to their interests.  I have the free version which suits me perfectly, but there is a paid upgrade as well which allows you to customize colors and more.

PLANOLY.  Where have you been all of my life?  The best Instagram planning tool hands down.  Planoly allows you to drag and drop your photos into a grid, plan and schedule them, plus a whole lot more.  I use the free plan, but there is also a paid version.

**I keep adding to this list so please stop back for more updates.

Disclosure: There are some affiliate links below and I may receive commissions for purchases made through links on this page.  These are all products I highly recommend and/or use. I won’t put anything on this page that I haven’t verified and/or personally used.
